Understanding Chastity Tubes: Purposes, Uses and Considerations

What Are Chastity Tubes? An Introduction to Caged Pleasure

Chastity tubes look and sound as incredible as fellating a mermaid during your morning swim at the beach! Yeah, most of us love slapping on some lube and letting our boners scream their cumming anger at the world. But others find that too blasé and prefer having their third leg locked up so securely that even the likes of Seal Team 6 would be hard-pressed to effect a rescue!

Fellas, it is just obvious that we are in the mood today to talk about boners that seek refuge in tubes, just like some crabs look for comfort and security in seashells and whatever else can accommodate their sweet meat! Y’all have heard of chastity tubes, right? Well, the plan is to tell y’all about what exactly these tubes are, what they are used for, and how they can be used safely, and sweetly, with your live-in mother-in-law being none the wiser!

Here goes!

The Gooey Sweetness at the Bottom of Chastity Tubes!

The chastity tube is a kind of chastity device that is mostly used for sex play and BDSM play. It is also known by other names like penis cage and chastity cage, and you all are welcome to call yours by whatever pet name your tongue can contort itself into! The tubes are usually comfortable and they can be used for BDSM play sessions lasting minutes to hours, or worn for the long term as part of chastity play.

Types of Chastity Tubes: Steel vs. Silicone

Chastity tubes are typically made of steel or silicone. The steel ones will weigh down your naval artillery and maybe give them some new muscles you never knew you had. The plastic and silicone ones are much lighter and more comfortable but lack the solidity and cold strength of steel. Plus they can’t give you the courage to think your cock is a fencing tool that can spear holes in dragons and whatnot! But plastic chastity tubers do make it possible to go through metal detectors at banks and airports without triggering every alarm.

Beauty and style are defining attributes of most chastity tubes. They are designed to fully enclose the penis and come fully lockable, with their main aim being orgasm denial. Depending on construction, they can make masturbation and sexual intercourse uncomfortable, hard, or impossible and this can be accomplished by making the chastity tube shorter and smaller than usual or connecting them to genital piercings that greatly restrict the movement of the penis. Some are even built in such a way that the user dares not get hard, or they will suffer excruciating pain. Plus there are specific tubes that can be combined with specific toys and piercings, for enhanced visual effects.

Typically, chastity tubes have holes through which the user can pee, or are equipped with urethral tubes. As we said, they are fully lockable or made tamper-resistant, with the key -if there’s one- usually with the Dom, or somewhere hidden that will be revealed once the sub has fulfilled certain assigned tasks. Here’s to hoping these tasks have nothing to do with catching and putting the moon in a Fendi handbag!

Chastity Tube Purpose and Tips for Safe Use

Chastity tubes look hella rad, as we never tire of saying. That means buying one just to put it on your dresser and admire the thrusting fuck out of it makes a lot of sense to us, especially if you were to go for those big and steely types.

But chastity tubes are not usually bought to be exhibited on your mantelpiece. As we mentioned earlier, these beauties are used in BDSM and sex play for orgasm-denial purposes and they have been doing an excellent job of that for many decades.

Benefits of Using Chastity Tubes in BDSM Relationships

In the BDSM community, it is typically the sub -usually a male- in the relationship who puts on the chastity tube and consents to having almost all avenues to have penetrative or oral sex shut down. This involves surrendering control to the Dom and is a vital aspect of BDSM relationships that builds trust, understanding, self-control, and a self-sacrificing spirit. Your partner is also likely to be more turned on by knowing that she/he/they now has full control over your sexuality and how and when you use your sexual organ. Plus your lack of control over your artillery piece is gonna feel all shades of erotic, liberating and amazing.

Chastity tubes in BDSM relationships can also be used as a form of punishment, or disciplining and might be combined with other rules and regulations that aim to drive all thoughts of sex away from the mind of the sub. This promotes submissiveness, with the sub being more willing to go out of their way to please the Dom, by helping out more around the house, focusing more on the needs and pleasures of the Dom and the like. Usage can also build sexual tension, so that when the chastity tube is finally removed, the sex is gonna be more mind-blowing and the orgasms more earth-shaking than the thought of a flying car in your garage that costs less than $2K!

How to Choose the Right Chastity Tube: Size and Material Considerations

Now, chastity tubes are pretty much foolproof. When choosing one, all you gotta do is decide if you want one made of steel or plastic. The steel ones feel heavier and are more secure. They are also very inflexible, which means it is very important to get one that’s the right size, or something bad might happen to your nodding snake, especially when it gets erect inside the chastity tube with no room to stretch out. Plastic chastity tubes, on the other hand, are lightweight marvels. You could jog with them all day with no one the wiser. But getting the right size is important. As is regular removal and inspection of the tube to ensure it is in good shape and to give the penis a breather, and maybe a good milking.

Don’t know the correct size for your anaconda? Well, you could get a custom piece or buy multiple pieces that are your measured size, plus a bit above and below that specific size, and choose the one that fits best. Or you could look around your locality for erotic shops that let you try out their stuff before purchasing. Just don’t leave dingleberries on the tubes you try out!

Potential Side Effects of Long-Term Chastity Tube Use

Worth noting is that long-term use -say 1 year plus- of chastity tubes can cause certain physical changes. To be precise, the human male was designed to have frequent erections, especially in the morning. Since chastity tubes make that hard or impossible, long-term use of chastity devices -and especially of tight-fitting chastity tubes- can decrease the production of testosterone and -temporarily or permanently- shrink the penis by reducing the elasticity of its spongy tissue. Or these sex toys might make getting and sustaining erections harder. Users of these devices can also become effeminate over time. Of course, that does not matter if the above effects were the intended goal. But if they were not, then chastity tubes should be used sparingly and with some sense.

And that’s all we have for now on chastity tubes, folks. Got something to say about caged members and tubes? Then come to the comment section and tell us about the tubes you have used and what they have done for you.

  1. I have experimented with many different types and sizes. It’s rare to find the right one on the first try. Plus, your junk changes over the coarse of the day and night. I’ve had a vasectomy but have a PA piercing. Long term chastity wear for me is an issue for more than a day because although it fit great at the start, gravity and temperature causes my nuts to slide through and can, at times, almost cause you to black out or at the least be in alot of pain I always made sure to have the key ready but even that can be tricky when in total, “let me out!” Pain. Long story short, I went to a piercing style tube and lock to avoid a ring behind my tender testies.
PA piercings are sooooi much more versatile and comfortable and can be used for chastity or fun and beauty as well as for her pleasure. I have retired from cock cages entirely. Hope this helps.
