There are many reasons why you might need to retire your piercing. Sometimes, a piercing is ruined because it is left without jewelry for too long. Other times, migration and rejection may force you to retire a piercing. In any case, you might want to get repierced. This is a perfectly valid idea, but does it work for genital piercings? Is it possible to repierce a penis?
Repierce a Penis: Yes or No?
If you had a penis piercing that you liked but had to retire, you are faced with a dilemma. You might want to get repierced. This is particularly true for those who had piercings that worked for them, and the loss of a piercing was not something that they wanted. For example, if you lost a jewelry part and jewelry fell out of your piercing. Penis piercings heal fast, so just a few hours without jewelry inside can make for a lot of difference. There are many instances of men who had to retire their penis piercings after losing them in this way.
Others had experienced migration, rejection,
infections or other problems that forced them to retire their penis piercing.
In these situations, it is not unusual to have some scar tissue on the penis.
Is it possible to repirece a penis in these situations?
In general, it is possible to repierce a penis piercing just like any other. It depends on circumstances, scar tissue and other factors, of course. Not all penis piercings could be repierced without a problem. But many are ok to be repierced. In this sense, it is possible to repierce a penis piercing like any other: some will work better than the others, but it being a genital piercing doesn’t necessarily make difference.
This is good news for all those who were forced to
retire their penis piercings. However, before deciding to get repierced, make
sure to visit a reliable piercer. Get an examination and ask what can be done.
Your piercer can tell you if there is a lot of scar tissue that may pose a
problem or warrant a different placement than the original piercing.
How to Repierce a Penis?
If you want to repierce a penis piercing, leave it to professional. Make sure to find a piercer with plenty of experience and knowledge about genital piercings. If you were satisfied with your original piercer, you may use them again.
Keep in mind that it might hurt a bit more to
repierce a penis piercing. When scar tissue is pierced, it may be more
sensitive than regular tissue, which can hurt a bit more. On the other hand,
repierced piercings tend to heal faster.
Another possible way to go is to have your old piercing stretched. This may be a solution for those who did not completely lose their original piercing. If it just shrunk, your piercing might be able to open it up to a larger gauge. This will essentially stretch your existing piercing back to its original gauge. However, this is not always an option and, again, it might hurt more than a regular piercing.
If you want to get your penis piercing redone, make
sure to talk to your piercer about your options. They will give you advice on
how to proceed and what are the best steps to take to get your penis piercing
back with least trouble.

I got my dick redone and it hurt alot more than the first time. I was in hospital for a week and had many tests done, my piercing was still healing as I had it done about 12 weeks before I went to hospital. I had to it out for about 12 hours and I couldn’t get my ring back in. Therefore once I was out I got my PA redone as I loved the look and feel, it hurt so much more than the first time. On the upside though ot only bled when I got it done and hasn’t bled since, as the first time I got it done my dick bled for about a week.
I have ordered a plastic ring for situations where I need to take it out for medical reasons. Highly recommend anyone guy to get his Prince Albert done, yes ots painful but that will go away and you can have so much fun with your new piercing.
Cheers fellas.
