Product Review (submitted on April 17, 2012):
Ive had my belly button eriecpd three times, so from experience I can say you will initially be eriecpd and recieve a curved barbell or ring. Opt for the barbell for the healing process because the ring seems to turn too much with sends the crusty's right into your fresh piercing and that hurts. They are also the most comfortable. Small rings (they are like a hoop that is joined with a small ball that has two dimples in the side that hold it together) are far more comfortable than large, and large rings tend to stick out if you wear tight clothes. Plus since they stick out they are easier to hit. And my least favourite is the straight barbells. Because they are straight they put pressure on the piercing especially when you move or sit. I usually stay far away from the decorative jewlerry like the ones with charms hanging off of them which add unnessisary weight to the piercing and are easier to hit. Otherwise, clean it with Bactine which is really a great product, watch you dont hit it off anything, and enjoy. Belly button piercings have always made me feel super sexy. And just to add when you want to change the balls on the end of your barbell, go to your piercer because he will have the smaller balls you usually dont get when you buy from a store. The larger balls left my piercing very irritated and is the reason my third piercing rejected. Plus they will be clean so they wont give you any new infections.
