is with a very sad heart that we say farewell to John Piper, known to
most of us as "John the Wand Man". John produced our Princes
Wands for
many years now, and I can honestly say that he was a personal
friend. I am sorry to say that John passed away recently.
John
E Piper, 67, of
Tokeland, Washington,
died at his home, Sunday, November 22, 2009. Born in Oregon City,
Oregon. When not fishing, clamming, or
traveling, John utilized his excellent machinist skills in a second
career, handcrafting amazing, custom made stainless steel jewelry. John
made some of the most beautiful high quality pieces that you have ever
seen in the body jewelry industry.
John is now again with his wife Ruby who
passed away about 2 years ago
after almost 30 years of marriage together. That loss was what I
beileve just wore Johns heart out. His heart was only for her.
Memorial services will be held in the
summer when, as they wished, John and Ruby's ashes will be mixed and
their earthly remains will be returned to the sea. Memorial
donations may be
made to the American Cancer Society in the names of John and Ruby Piper.
