Fixed Rings are rings that have a bead or charm that are actually attached to the ring. Unlike the Captive Rings you do not have to worry about losing the bead or charm because the only way is if you lose the entire ring. Also this way the charm is always facing in the same direction, where as on a captive bead ring it may be facing backwards and you will not even know it.
