Cherry Bombs are very similar to a Screwball Ring in that the ball is threaded onto the ring, except that Cherry Bombs usually have a Large Ball with a very small diameter ring. They are all custom made and on our version we allow you to choose the ball size that you would like. There is a slight gap between the ball and the other end of the ring, which is rounded and highly polished.

The recommended ball size depends on several factors. The Weight that you want, the Gauge of the ring, and the Diameter of the ring.

However as a rule of thumb;
8 gauge – should use a ball – 3/8″ to 3/4″
6 gauge – should use a ball – 1/2″ to 3/4″
4 gauge – should use a ball – 1/2″ to 3/4″
2 gauge – should use a ball – 5/8″ to 3/4″
0 gauge – should use a ball – 5/8″ to 3/4″
00 gauge – should use a ball – 5/8″ to 3/4″
7/16″ gauge – should use a ball – 3/4

The Triple Gem Set Surgical Steel Captive Bead Rings are naturally made put of the same grade Surgical Steel as everything else that we carry. The Triple Gem Setting is only made for horizontal Piercings like nipple piercings. They are available in two sizes 4mm-5mm-&-6mm balls, and these work well with smaller gauge rings. The other size has 6mm-7mm-&-8mm balls made for the larger gauge rings.

The Oval Gem Set Hybrid D Ring has a Setting made out of 14k Gold and the D Ring is made out of Surgical Steel. The Oval Gem is 8×6mm in size and is permanently attached to the D Ring.

The setting is permanently attached “Fixed” to the D Ring on one side. Being “Fixed” means that you will not have to worry about losing the charm, or fumbling with loose beads, like you might with a captive ring. Also it will always be facing the same way instead of spinning around backwards.

It can be set for a horizontal like for a nipple piercing which the D-Rings are really great for, or any vertical piercing like for a navel piercing. The Gem Setting can be made in either 14K White or Yellow Gold which ever you prefer, and in a wide variety of gem colors.

The 14K Micro Gem Set Skull Eyebrow Curved Barbell has two gem for eyes and is about 3.5mm in size.

The 14K Gold we use is; Solid 14K Nickel Free Gold. We use Palladium instead of Nickel in the Gold to help insure you of a healthy piercing. The Gold is available in either; 14K Yellow Gold or 14K White Gold, and all of our Gold is 100% Solid. No Hollow balls that crush with us.

The gems we use are Genuine Swarovski Cubic Zircons, and are not machine set, they are all Hand set, which makes it much less likely that a stone will fall out on you. Being Swarovski Zircons they will not quickly cloud over like the Austrian Crystal, and the plastics will.

All of our 14k Gold pieces are Internally Threaded for your comfort, with the exception of the 18 gauge which can only be externally threaded.
