How to Measure for a Glans or Cock Ring

There are many different reasons why a man will chose to get or try out a cock ring or a glans ring. The purpose of a cock ring is to slow the blood flow to make the erection be more sensitive and last longer. The cock ring can be placed anywhere on the shaft of the penis however it works better if it is put on the penis closest to the body. Some men just enjoy the pressure caused by wearing a ring and some like it for the looks of it. A glans ring is supposed to be positioned right after the head of the penis. The most important part in selecting a glans ring or a cock ring is make sure to get the right size for you. Serious issues can arise if the ring is too tight.

The best way to measure the penis for the perfect fitting glans ring or cock ring is by using a string, a marking pen, and a ruler. To make sure that either the cock ring or glans ring fits best, there will need to be two measurements done.

The first measurement should be done while the penis is flaccid and the second should be done while the penis is erect. While measuring, it is important not to pull the penis skin tight because this will not give accurate measurements. Wrap the string around the penis and mark on the string with either a pen or marker where the sting comes together. Then lay the string out on the ruler; that is the first measurement.
After the circumference has been written down from both flaccid and erect positions they need to be converted to a decimal. Then the decimal needs to be divided by 3.14 (which is pie). That answer then needs to be changed back into fraction form, and that is the correct inner diameter ring size that is right for you. Just a side note, it is a good idea to round up to ensure that the ring is not too tight.

If for any reason the glans ring or cock ring starts to irritate the penis, it should be removed right away. Generally the only way to remove a cock ring is when the penis is not erect. If numbness or pain starts for any reason, the ring should be take off immediately. The glans ring and cock ring can be a lot of fun, that’s why it is important to get the correct measurements to avoid having any issues.

Scarification Part 3: Cutting

Another way to do a scarification body modification is cutting of the skin. This cutting style is not to be confused with self cutting to deal with emotional pain; scarification cutting is only done for cosmetic purposes. Surgical blades are used to cut the skin in this type of scarification. When the professional uses the sterilized surgical blade to create a body modification, the lines are generally thin. The thin cuts that were done might not leave the desired scar the person was hoping for. Removing a portion of the skin in the body art is usually required to create a larger more predominate scar. Depending on how big the art piece being done is and how big of a scar is being desired, will determine how much skin will need to be removed.

Other Scarification Methods

Skinning is usually part of the cutting method in scarification because of the different sizes of designs and the size of the scar that is trying to be achieved. A surgical blade is used to make the outside lines where the skinning is going to happen in the art design and then the skin is peeled away, leaving an open wound to scar over.

Hatching is another method used to create a scar; it’s much like skin removal or skinning. The motion an artist uses to sketch a picture is the same motion used in hatching, a surgical scalpel is used instead of a drawling utensil. The skin is then removed.

Along with cutting, there are other techniques that are used to create the perfect scar. One of the most heard of is ink rubbing. After the cutting of the scarification has been done some body art enthusiast take a sterile coloring agent, usually tattoo ink and rub it into the open wounds. As the healing process begins, the ink remains in the skin. It is important not to pick the scabs because it will pull the sterile coloring agent out. The end result of ink rubbing maybe very disappointing. Most people view this body modification as a shoddily done tattoo instead of a scarification.

Another techniques used along with cutting is Packing. Packing is done mostly in Africa. A diagonal incision is made and either a form of clay or ashes are placed inside the open wound. The natural healing process of the body will form a scar and slowly push the ash or clay out, leaving a bigger scar then without a substance in the cut. In the United States, it is not unheard of for people to use cigar ashes or ashes of a deceased loved one in the packing scarification process.

Abrasion is another process that can be done to do a scarification body modification. This method basically uses friction to remove layers of skin to create a scar. The friction needed to create this scar can be caused from using a tattoo machine without any ink, sandpaper, or a dermal tool tip to grind away the layers of skin. The type of scar that is usually left from abrasion is not as raised as other methods. Chemical abrasion can also be done to create a body modification, although this is a far less known and explored form of scarification.

Piercing and Tattoo Aftercare – Advice You Shouldn’t Ignore

The healing process is the most important process in a body modification. The healing time defines how the end product is going to be accepted into the body, look and feel.  When leaving the shop after getting a tattoo or a body piercing jewelry, instructions are handed out for aftercare. Majority of the clients that receive this aftercare instruction sheet will either not follow it or lose it. Those who do follow and don’t lose the instructions on the aftercare for their new modification have a much greater chance that their new addition to their body will heal correctly without problems.

Prevent Infection & Prolong Lifespan of a Body Modification with proper aftercare

Whether it is a new piercing, a tattoo, or implants keeping the area clean is the most important thing in preventing infection. Most infections are caused by touching the area with dirty unwashed hands. Using antibacterial or antimicrobial liquid soap to wash your hands is best before touching and/or cleaning the area. This type of soap can also be used to clean the modification itself.

Sea Salt is great for healing and cleaning piercings. The reason why it works so well to help clean, reduce redness, swelling, and pain is because it contains many minerals that help activate the body’s natural way of fighting infections and healing wounds. After getting a tattoo or a body jewelry item, it is not recommended to go swimming in any kind of dirty or unclean water source such as a lake, pond, ocean, or chlorinated water until the area is healed.

Heal time for each individual piercing and tattoo is different for each individual person because everyone’s body and immune system is different. When piercings are healing it is normal for there to be a slight discharge. If this discharge dries, it will look like “crusties” around the piercing; to take care of this simply clean the area with Sea Salt and warm water.

However, if this discharge starts looking like pus, which is thick and usually yellow or greenish, it means infection. Most infections can be healed with antibiotics prescribed by a doctor. There is a product out there, also available with us, called H2Ocean that contains Sea Salt and natural antibiotics in a spray form, this makes it easier to clean the piercing and helps it to heal.

Rotating the body jewelry while cleaning will help the healing process as well. Tattoos heal by scabbing over and peeling. The area where the tattoo is done needs to be kept moist and not allowed to dry out. Letting the tattoo dry out can cause the tattoo to over scab and loose pigment color. Tattoo Goo and Vitamin A&D Ointments are great products to help prevent the tattoo from becoming too dry and over scabbing. Often during the healing process the tattoo can become irritated, red, and/or swollen. Putting warm water compresses over that tattoo with a clean washcloth can help these symptoms.

Both tattoos and body piercings need to be maintained and cleaned very well at least twice a day after the initial shop visit for about two weeks. Listening to the advice of the licensed professional and following the instructions handed out at the shop on the aftercare instruction sheet about your modification will greatly increase your chances that the piercing or tattoo will heal fine and look great.

The Penis Poem

My nookie days are over,
My pilot light is out,
What used to be my sex appeal
is now my water spout!
Time was when, on its own,
from my trousers it would spring,
But now its just a full time job
to find the fucking thing!
It use 2 be embarrassing
the way it would behave,
For every single morning
it would stand and watch me shave!
Now as old age approaches,
it sure gives me the blues,
to see it hang its little head
& watch me tie my shoes!
